Our Story

1989

From a spare bedroom in Leeds, UK, our parents formed the idea of Coopers Coffee, a one stop shop supplier for the coffee industry.

THE JOURNEY

Our parents spent years travelling the world and visiting origins to source the best coffee they could find. Some of these coffees are still with us today, such as Lou’s blend which was one of their first award winning creations.

2014

As natural evolution goes, we were brought up in this industry, so developed a keen interest from a young age. Fast forward to 2014, Coffee Brothers was born this time out of the garage of our family home.

2018

Coffee Brothers started to grow quicker than we imagined so we acquired our own warehouse! This is now known as our office, barista training centre and HQ.

TODAY

Our business now consists of a small team of coffee professionals based in Honley, West Yorkshire.

It’s very much a family thing here with our team of dedicated coffee aficionados who, in some instances have worked with us as a family for over 25 years.

Thank you!

WE MAKE A DIFFERENCE

We’ve been working with the UK’s most eco-friendly roastery for over 30 years.
Each Coffee Brothers bean carries a meaningful impact at it’s source. This encompasses supporting rural-poor farming communities by providing essential equipment, endorsing reforestation initiatives, fostering the development of climate-resilient varieties, and undertaking various other impactful endeavours.

THE TRADITIONAL
SUPPLY CHAIN

THE COFFEE BROTHERS
SUPPLY CHAIN

Reducing the number of involved parties results in a smaller portion of the product’s price being taken by various entities. Consequently, the individual responsible for growing the coffee receives the rightful premium, rather than it being divided among market investors, agents, or distributors. This direct approach ensures that the farmer can earn a sufficient income to sustain their livelihood and often enables them to make transformative improvements in their lives.
